Haunted History Tour

Come and see the graveyard at the Old Meeting House in a whole new light – lantern light, that is! On Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 pm, a costumed guide will lead you through the historic graveyard by lantern light, and regale you with stories of pioneers, slaves, and days gone by. Is the graveyard haunted? You decide… You will also enjoy some hot cider and light refreshments at the Old Meeting House. This is a family-friendly event. Children are welcome. There is no charge. Park at the Clayton Road church – you will be transported to the Old Meeting House.

Great fun. I enjoyed every bit of it. The cider was really hot, good and our guide was very funny. But I was slightly disappointed to hear that our historic graveyard no longer accepts new permanent residents except in the columbarium. Why is this?
