I'm interested in . . .

knowing what your thoughts and questions are about Sunday's scripture readings.  So, I want to try something new onthe blog during Advent.  On Monday, I'll post the scripture reading for the following Sunday.  In the comments section, you can post any questions, thoughts, or opinions you have about the reading.  You can do this any time during the week.  You may find your questions incorporated into the Sunday sermon.  And, we can get some dialog going about the readings.  If you're interested, let me know by posting a reply to this entry. I would be interested. I recently signed up for a podcast that sends the lectionary readings each week. It gives you a chance to listen to them several times during the week and be more prepared for worship on Sunday.

I like this idea. Am aware of a couple of other churches that have done this in the past and thought ti sounded like a good way to get people thinking before they come to church on Sunday
