Volunteer help needed in the community garden this Saturday

On Saturday, June 8, we start phase one of the watering system upgrade for the community garden.  Church members, family or friends who might want to lend a hand are welcome.  Volunteers need to be at the church by 9:00 a.m.  We will cut the driveway, trench and lay about 250' of pipe.  All that's needed is a good attitude and if one could bring a spade or a pick, the rest will be supplied.

Grow One Sunday Update

During the past week a few more pledge cards have been received and we are now near the $100,000 mark in pledges for fiscal year 2014.  Thank you to everyone who has returned a pledge card.  If you have not done so and need another copy, the cards can be requested through the church office at adminasst@faithdesperes.org.  We would appreciate very much receiving all pledges within the next week.  Thank you; your treasures and your time and talents given to Faith Des Peres are deeply appreciated.    – Barbara Abbett & Kathy Sherrick, Grow One Sunday Co-chairs
