Nicaragua Partnership – Last Chance to Sign Up!!

On Monday, November 4th at LoRusso's Cucina, the Rev. Doug Orbaker will speak at the annual Nicaragua Community Partnership (NCP) Fund-Raising Dinner to keep 45 Nicaraguan high school students in school and hear how God is transforming lives in PG2 and in St. Louis. Tickets are $50 per person. Anyone interested should call Barbara Willock at 636-227-6904 and/or email her asap at bwill2@mindspring.com to make arrangements.

Poinsettia Sales

Please sign up in the Gathering Space by Sunday, November 17^th if you would like to purchase a Christmas Poinsettia. Plants may be given in honor or memory of loved ones. We will order 6.5” pot poinsettias in red, pink and white. The cost per plant is $10. Make checks payable to Faith Des Peres and designate “Christmas Poinsettias” in the subject line. Plants will decorate the Sanctuary from December 8^th through the December 24^th Christmas Eve Service, after which you should plan to take them with you to decorate your home.

Coffee with the Pastor

People interested in learning more about Faith Des Peres are invited to come for coffee with Pastor Annie on Sunday, November 10th at 9:15 am to get to know more about the church, our history and values and answer any questions you may have. This is an informal conversation we like to extend from time to time to people who have been attending and might want to know more about the church or simply have questions about the church. Adult Discussion Group

You are invited to attend our Adult Discussion Group which meets on Sunday mornings. This Sunday’s topic, led by Gay Spears, will be the our new “Glory to God”  hymnals which will be introduced in Sunday’s worship. November 3rd’s topic will be the Nicaragua Partnership, led by Barbara Willock. November 17th’s leader will be Joe Marting. Class meets from 9:00-10:15am in the conference room upstairs in the education wing. Please join us!
