Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 6:15PM Eric and Sarah welcomed Ellis Scott Ludlow on July 25 at 12:01 a.m. He weighed 8lbs 10oz and was 21 inches. Mom and baby are doing well.
Rufus and Judy Sisson’s grandson, Adam James Donnelly, was born July 25 at 7:37 a.m. He weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 20.5 inches. Joe and Katie are the proud parents, and Madison is the big sister.
Congratulations to all!
Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1:35PM This Sunday we continue the series on The Lord’s Prayer, and during our worship we will ordain and install new elders to service. The choir will be with us with the anthem If You Search with All Your Heart based upon Jeremiah 29:11-13. Please plan to be here for this special morning in our life together.
Summer Sunday School will meet as we conclude our “Around the World” adventures for Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids, invite friends and join us for a fun morning.
Sunday School does not meet in August. But get ready for our fall programming to kickoff on September 8.

Your help is particularly needed this Sunday, July 28, following worship, to move furniture off of many carpeted areas of the church in preparation for carpet cleaning the next day. Then on Wednesday, July 31 we need help moving the furniture back where it belongs. Next week we could use all the help we can get to get everything in final form before our new school, John Paul II Preparatory School, moves in on August 1.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1:22PM One of our very own mission co-workers in Peru, Jed Koball, will preach at Faith Des Peres on Sunday, August 11. We will have the opportunity to learn about the work that the Joining Hands (JH) network is doing in Peru. JH is an initiative of the Presbyterian Hunger Program that fights the root causes of hunger by sparking the formation of networks in developing countries. These networks lead the struggle against hunger at a local level while working with PC(USA) presbyteries and congregations to address global hunger issues.
Jed Koball began his service as a mission co-worker in January 2009, when he was appointed companionship facilitator for the JH network in Peru.
